Bongnese is our name for a love story between Bengali and Chinese food—two culinary traditions that made a home together in Kolkata.
Chinese communities began settling in and around Kolkata more than two centuries ago. Today the city is home to India’s only surviving Chinatown. In its historic neighbourhoods, Chinese techniques and flavours met Bengal’s love of spice, sweetness and generous hospitality. The result became a cuisine with an unmistakably Indian soul.
This Raksha Bandhan, Bongnese Bandhan celebrates that same idea: love grows when cultures meet, stories are shared, and everyone is welcomed to the table.

A feast prepared with care
The deal is valid from 28 August to 3 September 2026 and is available only with prior reservation and full payment by 10:00 AM on the day of dining.
Advance confirmation gives our chefs the time to prepare every component with the freshness and attention this menu deserves. A regular restaurant reservation alone does not confirm the themed experience.
